2. Updating Endurance Remote Management

1 Logon to the remote computer as Administrative user, which the

Endurance Remote Management is installed.

Click [Start]  [All Programs]  [Marathon Endurance]  [Manager].

An Endurance Manager will open.

If the “Connect the host” message is displayed, enter the host name or IP

address, the user name and the password.

2 Click [Help]  [About...] at the menu of Endurance Manager.

Do not click the [Help] button in the “Connect the host” dialog.

3 Check the revision of Endurance Manager

Example:

・ When the revision is “6.1.2.2020.193-SP.EA”:

Apply this hotfix.

・ Otherwise:

This hotfix is not applicable.

4 Close the Endurance Manager.

5 Terminate all applications before updating.

6 Make a folder, copy the downloaded file in it, and run the downloaded

file.

It will create the following files:

- readme.txt ... the document to read first

- install.pdf ... this document

- HF612EA13.EXE ... the package including Endurance Software hotfix
